"I think it’s important to realize you can miss something, but not want it back."

A Little Everyday, August 2017

My Nanay was in my dream last night. I really wish I could remember what exactly we were doing. I just remember being surprised that she was there. I had felt like she was helping me. I woke up in another dream and I was crying because I had missed her so much. I had felt like she was trying to talk to me. I was in a house that was not my home and I was talking to someone that was not my mom but had felt like my mom. I kept waking up in dreams. It was weird because I had kept feeling like I was still dreaming and I kept feeling like I wanted to wake up.

When I actually did wake up it was 11:30. The latest that I’ve woken up in awhile.

Anyway, the last time I dreamt about Nanay she died in some sort of Typhoon. She died because I was drowning and she was trying to save me.
